It's an upscale chain restaurant common on the West Coast and other areas. Excellent food for the price.

It is NOT on par w/ Applebee's or Chili's. It is far superior to those two dives. And it beats the pants off Friday's as well. It's like the upper-middle class of catch-all sit-down dining.

#6 is correct. While Applebee's or Chili's may be good. Mimi's is excellent. Their stew, which I hate in all other forms, is awesome. And that cake'y raisin bread is the best!
When I eat there I get the sense of eating high quality food made of high quality ingredients.
If you have never been go. Of course, now that its been hyped just a little you won't like it.

Delightfully prepared entrees, soups, breads from quality ingredients and I believe made on-site daily. Not the tagged bags of micro-waved slop that Appleblow’s passes off at inflated pricing.
Mimi’s is doing what those revamped upscale “Maria Calendar’s Grill’s” try to do, although Mimi’s has always offered excellent food and service at acceptable family pricing, so the kid can be included.
Don’t change a thing!

Mimi outclasses Applebees, Millies, Chili's, Lenny's. Mimis has better portions, better food, & usually has the best price.

The few times I've gone out for dinner this year, Mimi's served, by far, the best tasting food. Service was prompt and courteous. Mimi's gets my vote as the best franchise restaurant.

I agree with everyone else - #5 you need to recalibrate your tastebuds.
I'd go to Mimi's any day over almost any of the other restaurants like TGI Friday's, Chili's, etc. because of the cleanliness, quality of customer service, and fresh, delicious food. The fact that it costs the same as the other places just helps to reinforce my belief, and their "healthy" menu is actually delicious, unlike the bland offerings at other restaurants.
