How would one feed audio to an external power amp if using the tuner and didn't want to use the built in speakers? The headphone jack? I noticed no audio out. My power amp has multiple input capability, it currently takes audio from the mobo's built in sound card and a recording interface connected via usb that also acts as an external sound card.

you can use the optical digital out. This one has it on the back....
