Why does anyone need a range of 100 feet for headphones? Is there an actual application for that?

#2 Because in reality, you get maybe 10 to 20% of the possible range due to interference and other factors - so if you built them to only have a 10 foot range, you'll probably only have a 1 to 2 foot range in real life.

this is pretty cool and they're pretty cheap. I'm actually not sure about sound quality. I know for sure that wired headphones would sound better if not the same as wireless ones, so maybe wired ones would be a better chose.
