These dopes either need to 1) have firewire and/or e-sata or 2) invent a faster USB. 2TB over USB will take like 4 days

Does this need a power supply?

I would be worried about 1yr warranty. Most drives come with a 3 or 5 yr warranty.
Just buy a new drive and an enclosure for peace of mind

#5, is it? I thought the fantom 1gb with esata were like 80.
you could buy 2 of those for less.

I still haven't forgiven hp for merging with compaq!

Think Sony memory stick... only with more fail.

F'ing HP and their F'ing Personal Media drives. All they are is a external USB case that slips into a slot on some Hp machines that has a USB plug at the back of the slot.

Nothing like standardizing on something that's completely useless to 90% of the population.
