Stay away from this product got a similar one. Product stopped syncing did all troubleshooting steps then was told I'd have to be billed $65 for labor, parts are free under warranty. Fuck Sony. For all the shit that gets talked about Apple here buy an ipod that breaks in a year you'll get a replacement 90 percent of the time.

I've had one of these from the previous gen. for about three years now. Sounds great, and never had any trouble syncing, but I agree that dealing with Sony when it comes to repairs is painful.
