I've been thinking about getting one of these to game on for my PC and a 52" or 46" LED version for my home theatre, any one have any experience with the picture quality, 120hz mode or contrast? Any problems with the brand/set?

Might as well go LED since Sharp's LC-40LE700UN can be found for only $200 more.

I wish these things would ship with a protector. My kids toys seem to break them easily.

That LC-40LE700UN is an interesting set. It's got a new panel that should provide dark blacks without the need for local dimming but I can't find any professional reviews of the set.
