Oblivion is a great game. If you didn't play it the first time around I highly recommend it. I lost many a day to this game.

I think GOTY includes some game add-ons (knights of the 9 & shivering isles) etc... This game is totally worth $9.

Anyone having problems leveling up with Oblivion? I have re-installed the game at least four times and still can't get past level 17. I'm using either GameDrive or Game Jackal to keep from using the original disc.

The level up system for oblivion is really weird, so that might be the issue. To get to the next level you have to earn ranks in the skills that you chose at the start, it has nothing to do with exp. I would recommend looking up a detailed FAQ on the game and see if that is your problem.

Thank you for the info Zephyr314---I may have other problems---I get a "Microsoft has encountered problems" message almost every time I exit the game.
