I've owned noise-canceling headphones before and they worked okay. They cost me about $40. Just based on the price I can't imagine these are great.

I've tried several sets from $20.00 to about $120.00 and they worked OK, with the cheapest just seeming to mask the sounds with white noise to the more expensive one seeming to actually cancel some sounds.
Then I finally gave in and paid $300.00 for the new Bose Quiet Comfort 15 and WOW, do they work well. It's fun demonstrating them to people to watch the expression on their faces.
So, yeah, you get what you pay for and if you REALLY NEED great noise cancellation (I use them on flights and also when flying my lawn mover around the yard), save the money you'd spend trying the cheap ones ad save for the Bose.

#5 obviously, if you don't like where your lawn is, it can move it for you.
As to where to get it, you can make one yourself. Buy several bulldozers.
