Blu-ray disks are a bargain too. You can buy one blank disk for $19.99 at Staples.

Why would anyone want to buy Lite-on considering their pathetic reputation? Morever this is more than normal price for dvd writers.

Was the norm...but prices were hovering around $30 for the past couple months for some reason despite the obvious fact that its an older technology. Inflation maybe? I know because I was considering buying a spare since I recently started burning a ton of DVD's.
Looks like they are back around $20-$25ish. I'd rather buy another brand, Lite-Off has not served me well in the past.
