Is this TV any good? For the price I think its a good deal. How does the resolution compare with Samsung TVs?

This is a refurbished TV. Don't understand why it's not mentioned here. I personally like Westinghouse TVs, but I'm in the minority. Even so, I would avoid a refurbished HDTV, especially if it involves a rebate.

WH had a few models that were quite good, especially for the price. But they also had several of the worst models ever made, which is why there were so many refurbished WH TVs floating around for a while. It's hard to beat $180 for an HDTV, but the hassles involved if this thing goes/arrives bad make it a very questionable deal.

When a deal is too good, it should raise a red flag.
In this case, there are multiple red flags, ranging from the low price, additional rebate, and the fact that it is a refurbished item.
