Wow! 20 bucks for a 1 GB PCI-E video card? The bad part is the hassle of the mail-in rebate. I hate to do mail-in rebates. So I'll pass ... hint to manufacturers: just pass the rebates on to the sellers, who must pass them on to the buyers, & save us the pain.

You obviously don't understand how rebates work, sh. Them manufacturer wants you to forget to send in the rebate.

#1: 1GB doesn't really matter in this case. The memory size is not a bottleneck. This card will perform no faster than a Radeon 3650 w/ 256MB of RAM.
At $20AR, this is a good price. Faster than the normal HDTV budget cards that usually show up at this price, although it's still not a gaming card. But, if you need something that can run games like Spore and The Sims, this could work.

This thing has a cheap fan. You'll be lucky to get 3 months before it goes bad.

Hey Wiz, don't see you haunting Ben all that much anymore. My mistake I didn't see that. :-/
It was more meant as more disparaging, as who would pay that much for the afterbirth of one of those mutilated GSO they try to pass off.
1Gb at this price! That isn't a problem it can't hurt you, while at least this i a 128-Bit. Actually 64-Bit OS will access that the extra and can allocate it for some video decoding and other tasks. It doesn't so much work faster be it doesn't work as diligently clearing out and acts as a buffer to afford stability to the process.
While at this price I might either find a good aftermarket or I might have something I could cobble together that might be better.

It's like close brain insert keyboard in the biggest orifice. He has no social skills that why he is here trolling and doesn't contribute. He is such a stupid, unsociable, antagonistic, simpleton, wuss of a hermit and why he doesn't possess the smarts to stop! (it's his other crack)
While other say he believes he is part of a master race, however just probably goes to be some girlie boot-licker.
Back on topic, if you got a 8600GT it's better than those 128-Bit DDR2 GSO they're passing of for $70, heck the GTS was also great low power option back 3-4 months ago when $36, real GSO's when $35-40 where great if you wanted to upgrade a PSU.
