Common, these have been around $20 on eBay for years. http://cgi.ebay.com/Linksys-WUSB54G-802-11g-USB-Wireless-G-Network-Adapter_W0QQitemZ370281820505QQcmdZbaconQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5636843159

I wouldn't pay more than $10 for any USB wireless G adapter these days. $30 is ridiculous for this aging device.

These things are crap. Avoid at all costs. I bought one four years ago for about this price. No idea what the heck this is doing here, like a relic from the past.

There will be workaround if not drivers #6, network adapter chipset manufacturers can't afford not to support them, although often you may need the normal old-school zipped up or self-extracting driver files for the respective chipset instead of those damn do-it-all installers that check to see if they can find a branded device they *like* before doing the install.
Even so, it does little good now, you don't want to buy then be waiting around for a frickin' nic driver.
