Had 3 of these, the scroll mechanism kept getting screwed up.
The better versions have a switch that that lets you change between click scroll and free wheel scroll which is much better IMO.

I have these, and the work very nicely. Don't install the piece of crap logitech software. If you don't, then the changing between the click-scroll and the free-scroll simply by depressing the wheel. This works very nicely.

I have one of these. Great mouse but this doesn't seem like a great deal.
