I bought this set, do not buy, loud noise in phone and echos, not worth sending back as you have to pay the shipping and they charge you 15% re stocking fee so you don't get much back.

Got this system (same deal) a few months ago. After 6 weeks the phone system died on me! The quality of the phones is very poor.

I haven't had good luck with GE cordless phones either. I also had some V-Tech ones where some of the buttons stopped working. Trying Panasonic DECT 6 ones now.

GE traditionally has not made decent phones. I would stay away from this model.
