The iPod Touch was hands-down the best gift I ever gave my wife. She uses it all day, every day. I bought it assuming it was not much more than a pretty MP3 player, but she uses it more as a handheld computer - checking email, websites, playing a game or two.

I thought the iTouch 3rd gen was already out... I thought I saw the 3rd generation advertised in the Best Buy newspaper ad this week. I know the iPhone 3rd gen is out. Someone I work with just got one the other day.

The Touch is a great unit. Just wish I could have been a bit more patient and held out for the 32gb. At this price it's less than I paid for a 16gb less than a year ago.
