for the price of printing pictures on line, why do people still want to make their own?

#1, I guess it depends what they are taking pictures of.

Anyone else try to install the drivers for an HP printer (either from the disc or the website) and find it takes almost an hour?

#2, in fear of what actually might be said to your comment, im going to simply keep my mouth shut

I have this model....and while the print quality is pretty nice, it is always prompting me to check for updated drivers from HP and its takes FOREVER to get ready to print something if you haven't used it in a while. BTW, I won it at my work Christmas party 2 years ago, so I didn't research it or buy it myself. Also had some trouble with aftermarket print cartridges I bought on ebay. Had to return them and buy some other ones which worked.

if you buy a laptop at a brick and mortar store. to make the sale they will throw in a free printer. usually something equivalent to this model. thats how i got mine! i just asked and they got a sale.

The toner is probably a 1st more expensive than the printer. That, how they make money those day.

go with cheap brother laser, when on sale b/w only refill like 30.00 yield like 1600 pages. f'color prints then buy both...
