Boy, after all these deals, I have had enough docking stations now. Would be a good deal if they sell this drive alone for under $60.

It's a decent deal if you want the dock, but otherwise $80 is a nominal price these days for a 1TB. Save a few bucks with free shipping maybe.
#2, it's a low power model. If you want max speed you don't want this drive at ANY price. They do not typically sell for much less than 7200rpm models. Same thing with WD Black vs WD Green--the Green is maybe $5-10 cheaper at best. The 5900 rpm is for power consumption and noise, not price. This drive is not for you!

A cheap dock (Kingwin EZdock) is $25 if you want to buy it separately. So the "real" cost for this 1GB HDD is $55. That's not a bad deal after all.
