I own this same type latter for years and paid alot more than $99 new at the time was closer to $200. Anyway it works great getting on the roof or into a scuttle attic etc. Just be careful when lowering it back down and unlocking it as a section can come down quickly and pinch a finger. Overall a good ladder, small and compact and easily fits into small places for storage or the trunk for taking to job sites, etc.
