Anyone actually have this thing? Is it any good?

For $5, would you expect it to be any good?

It's small, looks cheap, and the compass points to random directions. Yet, it's nice to have it on hand during power breaks.

Would be nicer if the compass is in the visible light from the lamp.

Would probably be good to have for power outage... at least it could help you find the candles.

I bought one, its about worth $5. Real small, and enough light to use as a night light.

I bought one, it works great, though the contacts were slightly rusted so I to scrape them to get the current flowing. I haven't had it long, but with fresh batteries it puts out a ton of light, enough to read a book by.
