Does anyone know if these kind of winter boots get really hot if the temperature outside isn't below freezing?

If they are even half as good as advertised, my feet better be hot. Not really a concern for people like myself who have enough sense to not wear winter boots when it's above freezing.

#7, Go look up what "rated to..." means. I understand "rated to -25 degrees Fahrenheit and feature waterproofed nubuck leather uppers," but that says nothing about how the boots will feel above 32 degrees Fahrenheit. What part of my question isn't computing with you?
I've slept comfortably in a sleeping bag rated to -10F when it was 40F outside without feeling too hot. Granted, I wouldn't use that same sleeping bag for 80F. Just because the sleeping bag was rated for -10F doesn't mean that it was too hot in applications above freezing.

BTW, did some reading on these sort of boots. With 200g of Permaloft insulation, it should feel comfortable between -25 to 40F. Obviously depends on personal metabolism and activity (if you anticipate standing still a lot, you'll probably want something warmer).
