#1.. no PCIe 16x slot so dont plan on getting a video card in there but pretty great for Vmware/Zen/etc.
T100 has boot off iSCSI, Console redirection on Com1, internal USB plug (for ESX4i). Has no BMC support really which the newer T110 does.
But the T100 is ICH9 based so SATA for local VMFS storage works. Where the T110 is notICH# based and has issues w/ local VMFS storage until there is a driver hack.
T110 would be better for Win7 since it has a PCIe 16x slot (which runs at 8x only)..
BTW this deal also stinks since some of the prevous offers have VT enabled Xeons for this price, E5400 wont work for VMware vSphere 4 actually.

I'm running the RC on a 6 year old Dell with a PCI grafics card and 1 gig of RAM and it runs like a champ. Put 4 gigs of RAM and load the 64 bit version and I'd say you have got a nice cheap box.

HEY GUY!DELL is not 4 years ago....All the systems onsales right now,,,they throw in only 140w or 150w cheap power supply...pos....even a server....so,don't buy them if you don't have a another ps...think about it...THANK!
