Kind of a cheap tripod, but it does work for compact cameras. I wouldn't attempt putting a heavy SLR on it, though. But the imitation leather case turned out to be a very good fit for the TomTom GPS and the power cord for it. Gave the tripod to a relative to use and stored the TomTom in my vehicle in the carry case.

i wouldn't waste your time on this, i bought a kit like this years ago with my first small digicam and the crap is stilly lying around lost in my bag somewhere. your fine without it. just remember to put your camera against something and it'll be about he same
