There are a growing number of subcompact and compact digital cameras with 5x to 7x optical zoom. The Nikon Coolpix S630 costs $250 and has 7x optical zoom, and the Olympus Stylus 1010 has 7x optical zoom for $200...

I bought this camera two weeks ago. The big selling point is that this little camera can take video at 720p and it does it well, even in low light!

I've had my eye on this camera for awhile. I'm waiting for BF.
The problem is I really want a black one, and if it's on a BF deal it will probably be the silver.
I really don't care about the zoom because if you want a good picture at say 6x using a tiny camera like this you'll need a tripod.
