Canon SX200 is "best bang for the buck" point N shoot out there (at least for the next 4 months until the new cameras come out)

I've heard lots of complaints about the pop up flash. Also, slightly bulkier than the Panny DMC-ZS3.

no viewfinder on these new models!! and non standard batteries ($50 each)

I like that 12X optical zoom

Lumix TZ5 is an excellent camera.

I have had this camera for about 6 months and it was a great purchase very happy with it. The pop up flash is not as bad as people complain about. The HDMI connection is awesome. The non standard battery is not a problem you can buy batteries on ebay for ~$4 that work great for about a year... then you need to replace them. I ve done that with all my canons. My only complaint is that you need a fast SD card to longer vidoes. I bought a class6 cheapo 32GB card and it onl takes video for 10 sec. I bought a legit Sandisc extreme SD card and it works great.
