So much better than Brita - highly recommended! However because it is so through in cleaning all of the nasty stuff out of the water they are slower than a Brita

depends where you live and what water you get. Arizona its a must to have a filter as they let everything through. up state NY has the best tap water. Reno Nv might not have stuff floating in it but tastes like crap. oddly the hose water is nice there though.
