wow, I wouldn't even try this if they paid me to. Pass. 010 has some serious problems, and I'd advise people to avoid it

I've been using the beta preview since the last few months. I absolutely love it. THe print screen is amazing. it no longer opens in another window to ask which printer to use. It shows preview/printer/status all on same page.
Outlook is also a great improvement.

its funny how you need 2 gb of ram to open and edit the same word document that was created in 1996 on a pc with 16 megs of ram..

#9, funny how 4 megs of RAM back then cost as much as a laptop today.

    OpenOffice rocks.
Especially nice on Linux, of course.

I recently downloaded it this week. I like it so far. Everything is running smooth; things are a little more intuitive. Not much different than Office 2007, so I still have to see what the "major" upgrades are.

The problem with Beta's is that they don't always uninstall cleanly and mess up your pc.

My 60 office trial just ended, so I have been using this new beta. It has been working great so far. I also have open office, but sometimes formating gets messed up when I try and open certain files with macros, so I am sticking with this new beta.
