Epson inks dry up if you don't use them regularly and then your printer jets get clogged.

I have a different "N" model. It drinks ink like an alcoholic.
When it decides the cartridge is empty it won't print even though the last page printed was fine.
"That is to protect the print head". Bull! Get a HP, then you get a new print head with every cartridge.
Its the last (of four) Epsons I will ever buy.
