how much functional is wireless printer over a wired printer really? same with wireless headphones. How far do people venture off if they have to put these items within walking distance anyway right? Same with wireless headphones. I mean you're not going to place the receiver/stereo a 100 yards away right? its going to be somewhere in your house. But this is a low priced item anyway. Although a wired printer would be half the price. You can then use that stare money for batteries and flashlight that people never have enough around the home and you can never go wrong with having extra when an emergency comes.
