tempting... Frys had a athlon x2 240 with mobo for roughly this price. this probably has better performance and i already have a mobo

Wow, how inexpensive is that. I have an HP quad core (2.4GHz) that is running great and has plenty of horsepower.

Good CPU for cheap starter computer. It can easily overclock to 3.2 GHz or better depending of the motherboard.

I am currently running this cpu over 4ghz, it is 45nm like the wolfdale core e8500 and OC's like a beast. Extremely cool running if you don't OC at all.

I am impressed with this little guy with its killer OCing. Running it at 4ghz at 36/33 idle and 43/38 maxed out.
2mg of cache is nice to. Funny to see Tiger hiding from customers.

PS got two for 40.00 each with free shipping before price hike.
