CCFL TN monitors are so old school, for this price I'd think about start looking at those LCD that are LED backlit, especially if your one to take your Panel to gaming competitions.
When aG2410 24-inch High Definition LED Monitor was like $212 not to long ago, and 239 right now, you really need to consider how much more you will be getting on such a long term investment.

LED Backlit screens on a TN panel are just as craptacular as a CCFL TN monitor. If you want to see a noticeable difference you really should invest in a panel that doesn't suck in the first place.
