Amazon with Crazy-Store has the 13 LED Flexible USB Light Lamp for $2 with free shipping. Features flexible stainless steel neck, USB bus powered, plug it in to light up immediately.
I personally think this product got design flaw: It will put a lot stress on your USB port and normal USB port on system is not design that strong to hold on. If it is design with a base to shift the stresss on the USB port-than it should be better.
If planing to use on a laptop, consider the unsupported weight of this style of light. I have one that is smaller, and it it puts a large amount of stress on the USB port. I've replaced mine with one that has it's own base to stand on (and has a mini-fan).
No on/off switch. I have one to use as a reading light on one of those adapters #1 mentioned. Works great but I want to put some kind of switch on it. Definitely worth a buck or two.
We have visitor from manufacture or what ? All member praise this e product got thumb up. Against the product got a thumb down. That's pretty much show how the thumb up/down system works.. I am out of here...
this is a very bright light for under counter and night lights at great price.
i previously purchased 2 of them from ebay and paired them up with those cheap 99 cent black USB chargers from meritline.
shipping is from HK so 3 weeks shipping time.
sellers will ship a random color (hood over LEDs), but i have asked for white and received my requested color.
someone needs to make these and an app to adjust brigntness and on off
