This link is for a dual core T4400 Inspiron for $449. There is no ability to upgrade to Core i3.

Got it. Very good deal for an i3 notebook with 4GB and a 14" LED. the only other i3 or i5 at this price was an Acer and I'm not buying one of those budget brands. no modem or expansion slots though. but thats what my desktop is for.

That is a pretty good deal. But 1366x768 for a 14" screen? Seems more like an oversized netbook than a compact notebook. I'm thinking that compared to my 14" 1400x900 Inspiron that this screen is not going to look as good.

Thanks. Good price but you can't further customize to get a better HDD etc.
