Has anyone experience this sony model. I know it's an older model but for $130, very tempting...

well according to the various reviews i've read for this cam, seems to be a pretty good recreational cam. It's small and light which bodes well for storing in your pocket and the pictures seem to be pretty good. although they say that it does have pretty bad battery life so make sure to get rechargeable AA batteries.

oh by the way...seems like this cam doesn't come with a memory stick, since it does have 24mb built in memory. so i'd suggest you look for a memory stick for it, too.

Not a bad deal, but I saw the same camera sold at Office Depot for the same price about 6 months ago. I'd wait if possible, the price should still come down.

I have a previous model DSC s90. I love it.
This newer model is actually smaller in size than my s90. However, it can't shoot video 640x480 @ 30 fps ( you might not care).

ok i own several cybershots and this happens to be one of them, i ended up giving it to one of my friends for a reason. it feels cheap, the casing that is. and it requires batteries i think it was like AA or AAA and plus you cannot hook it up directly to your tv and watch it b/c the outlet is different. there are a lot of hassles about it and in the end it would be better if you for up a couple of more dollars and get something else. thats just my advice gluck.
