Well #2, what are you complaining about? You've only posted 77 comments since 2006 and they are mostly all one liners comments. That's about .03 posts per day on average. Let's pick up the pace a bit and give it a little bit more effort...
Last time I went to New Zealand (April 2012), airline tickets were $1500 RT (from LAX) for me. $2000 for lodging (for 2) for 2 weeks is actually incredibly cheap - especially with the exchange rate the way it is right now.
