GC is always like that. When you go there with a sales flyer, they act confused about the sales pricing and type on their computers trying to "figure it out" until you give in and pay full retail.
Ever since Romney's investment group bought GuitarCenter and changed the way they did business...that is, treating returning customers like new ones, by not giving real discounts.
