This seems like a really killer deal. Aren't HDMI cables really expensive?

Oh hell yes, this is *EXACTLY* what I was looking for! That HDMI-to-DVI converter (instead of having to buying/hauling around a dedicated cable) is just what I could use on a regular basis. Thanx Ben!

No #6. HDMI cables are not really expensive.
Luckily for Best Buy and Circuit City, the idiots shopping there aren't aware of that.

The sock you on the accessories.
Man, bought a Black Friday notebook and the Best Buy rep just wouldn't stop marketing all while we were in the checkout.
When I got sick of patronizing him (after all, it's his job), I finally started talking about all the free software that was either just as good or better (depending on your needs) -- from AVG Free to OpenOffice.org.
Even Sams Club has Stratetic (or whatever the name is) cables that are a crapload cheaper, although they only have a few types. I always send people to Sams for USB cables or half-way decent surge protectors if they need them immediately.
