I don't see how this is a deal. It looks like a rip off to me. Seems like a useless service.

Check out: my ID score . com (all one word). It doesn't offer protection/insurance but offers information on your risk of ID theft and it's free. Do a google search for more info, there has been a couple articles written about the site. Everyone is able to get a free credit report annually. check out: FTC . gov (one word) for more info.

Seems like you might be better off with a couple of those bargain $30 wallets Ben is flogging in another of today's "deals."

Lifelock's founder and CEO is a felon. It's a scam too.

#11 The CEO posted his SSN on Lifelock's website because he was so 'confident' in his company's service and promptly had his identity stolen.

TrustedID and Lifelock don't allow you too view your credit report whenever you want. Privacyguard does. Best service i seen so far.

I agree LifeLock is a rip off because anyone could do what they do for free, but Trusted ID is worth it to some people because they allow you to freeze your credit so you can minimize the damage if your identity gets stolen. I signed my daughter and son-in-law up because they once had fraudulent charges on their credit card. It was only $161.40 a year for a family plan that included my 2 grandsons when I used our corporate discount promo code TREK4.
