just ordered one. shipping was $8 and got taxed for being in CA but still worth it. i missed the deal on the simpletech 250gb NAS last month and i've always wanted one of these. btw, the $30 code works on multiple units if you want > 1 and shipping was only $1 more for two.

#1, FYI: the SimpleTech NAS 250 is available at chiefvalue for $110, free shipping, don't know about tax for your state though.

Anybody use this NAS? Any comments? Also if I connect my 1 TB External HD to the USB port of this NAS will it be able to read, write and transfer the files from that External HD?
