Hate these proprietary storage formats. No CF or SD capability means I will not buy. Pay some extra for Nikon or Canon and save money and the trouble of using too many card types.

That would be a good suggestion but in truth, these Sony camera cost more than comparable Canon or Nikon cameras so... I'm right there with you on your suggestion to avoid Sony and save money.

So much hatred for Sony...have we forgotten how many hours of Trinitron and PS2 pleasure has Sony given us over the years? Anyway, most point and shoot cameras at this price have nice lenses for our purposes, but this camera is smooth and SEXY. Much nicer to look at and hold than Canons or Nikons, which I also own. At this price point, how the camera looks is just as important. Sony is still circling the drain with its other products, though. Idiots.
