Have been using these guys for three years now. Always a quick turnaround. Filed on 1/12, got both of my returns direct deposited in exactly two weeks.

they are charging me 12.95 because only the federal one is free, the state one isnt.

I wish I'd known about the State Farm thing.
I tried TurboTax but I made too much for the free filing. I also tried to use H&R Block for free after I used them last year but free is only for first year.
TaxAct doesn't try to hook you into their paid service(which they have) the way the others do. At least not this time.
$12.95 is half what the others charge for state taxes.

Used it this year and last, for both me and a friend. $9.95 to e-file state. Also creates a pdf file you can print and save to HD.
