Have been using these guys for three years now. Always a quick turnaround. Filed on 1/12, got both of my returns direct deposited in exactly two weeks.

#9, you sound cheap. At least you didn't pay anything for the TaxAct software. Compare that to the cost of buying TurboTax at Staples or Best Buy.

Count your blessings. Or aren't you getting a refund? (lol)

#9 that's how they earn their livelihood. So, stop whining and pay them please.

Wow...I've never used this service before, but I'd like to jump on the bandwagon and say this service is DY-NO-MITE! In fact, I say use it twice and DOUBLE your refund!

I just used TaxAct for the first time this year and they were great.

I wish I'd known about the State Farm thing.

I tried TurboTax but I made too much for the free filing. I also tried to use H&R Block for free after I used them last year but free is only for first year.

TaxAct doesn't try to hook you into their paid service(which they have) the way the others do. At least not this time.

$12.95 is half what the others charge for state taxes.

taxes are not so complicated, unleas you have some bonds, own bussiness, ira distrubutions and etc, if so, then you can afford it

I like to keep it simple. My 401k is the only thing that I worry about. As long as I can use e-file I'm good.

#4 mentions State Farm. I happen to have them for my trucks.

Used it this year and last, for both me and a friend. $9.95 to e-file state. Also creates a pdf file you can print and save to HD.
