2.5" external drive enclosures are commodity items as demonstrated by this price. Shop for your desired USB connector to the drive enclosure. Select from mini-USB, micro-USB, or much harder to find full sized USB. Important when the time comes that you have lost the cable which the enclosure came with.
I usually buy these for the cable. This one uses a non standard cable. 3 A males in stead of 2 A males and one mini
I actually find the 2 A Male cables to be the more popular. I have gotten three 2.5" enclosures and 2 DVD enclosures that used them.
got one too a few months back, works for me
I got one from last year. It does the job but the transfer speed is terrible... Ex. using a Seagate external USB2.0, I can get ~20-30MB per sec thru-put. With this external enclosure, the speed is only around 5MB, so it's more like USB1.1 than USB0
