Own several of this. Work fine to convert old mini USB cable/ car charger port to current smart phone micro usb port. So I don't need to buy new accessory for my smartphone. There are some other adapters w/o the short cable( 1 solid piece)- but it might put a lot of stress on the micro usb socket of your phone..
However this discount is only 10 cent...
Wish they can make : "L" shape connector with short cable in the future...

Regarding price, it's cheap no matter what.
