Bah! I paid $9 for one tube from Micro Center about 3 months ago. A word of warning though, my first tube lasted me about 12 years and probably 15-20 computer builds. A 2 pack will probably last you the rest of your life!

I wonder if the newer stuff is much better. I'm still using a 12 year-old tube.

#2, For $10 why don't you just buy the newer stuff and stop worrying? I'm sure in 12 year the technology has improved.

Yes, I'm sure lube technology has vastly improved in 12 years. Just ask #5.

Preparation H is cheaper... Your sphincter won't miss the silver, but your artistry may be less appreciated.

Just go easy on the stuff.. A little goes a long way.

I have seen pc's that the user caked the entire cpu with this stuff. Not just the core but the entire chip.

Don't pay more for name-brand thermal compound. It doesn't do baconnaise. This is for suckers.

i ordered one of these last fall from yesbuy. the product works fine...no issues so far. the only complaint is about how long it took me to get this. the shipping was free but it took nearly 3 weeks to get it.

Go down to Radio Shack and get a tube of their generac compound. Works just fine and the only thing you lose is your namebrand fanboy status.

Radio Shack stays in business due to items like this and their cables.
