"Bonded" leather means it has been impregnated with epoxy to make it look nice and shiny.
This is the junk that after a few years breaks down and shows cracks, since the epoxy cracks, and thus the thing leather cracks.
Total Junk, wont last through college...
It's usually embossed polyurethane or vinyl with leather fibers as a backing then cloth binded onto that. True it'll wear out a lot sooner than properly cared for leather, but also usually costs less than half as much. Think I'd go with cloth furniture in this price range but to each his own choice.
Looks like fine Corinthian Leather...
Actually Corinthian Leather looks nothing like this.
