Amazon with AKGADGET has a 2-pack of USB Lightning Charge and Sync Cables for iPad Mini, iPad 4 and the iPhone 5 (and microfiber cloth) for $6 + $5 shipping = $11 shipped. These cables will charge and sync - some of the cheap Lightning cables on eBay have reports of sync not working. A single Apple brand version is $19.
