I remember when a 200 GB cost that much.

3TB for $200 bucks, good deal, I've just recently bought a few 1TB drives for $90. Maybe if I get some of the new gaming systems that might need external storage to uh.. play backups... I'll pick up a pack.

#37, no matter how many times you keep telling us that the firmware was up to date when these drives were sold at 85, the fact still remains that they weren't. So stop imagining things.

If you *READ*, you will observe I made that statement precisely once prior. Ergo, your ad hominem attack is factually wrong and/or based on what you wish were so rather than what is.

Having said, I have no clue as to why you are doing this or why you have selected the pseudonym "golden boy". Is there some fantasy resonating?

it is still a good price. 103 per drive is still cheaper, and you don't have to deal with the rebate bull sh!t

This is not a rebate. It's a coupon code that reduces the price you pay by $70 instantly.

Keep in mind that unlike most internet sellers, Dell charges state sales tax on purchases from their website

I have owned this drive for 6 month, no problems so far. I think I might jump on this deal, I am already running out of room!

Ok, I too got in on the infamous $85 drive, but If I remember, it was an error and has never been that low since. That said, I bought 2 of these at $100.00 each shortly thereafter. That made my 5th & 6th of this, all still running with ZERO problems.

    Again, just my experience
