Seems the only usefulness for these, on a bicycle, would be that it might pop off and bounce off the windshield of the car that just ran over you, because you were too cheap to buy a real bike light!!
Yeah, a person who rides a bike at night would not use these. I have "cheap" Cateye light setup for my front and rear w/blinkies. & I was still hit by a car. T-boned actually.
Being a bike commuter my first thoughts aren't safety. I'm mean if you really think about it. My first though was if you used these for extra lights would you really want to deal with the non rechargeable batteries?
I have one of these as well as a much better light. I just leave this one on my commuter all the time in case I'm caught out at sundown and didn't plan to. Cheap, better than nothing, but not a "real" light. It does seem like it might help you be seen but it doesn't light your way. If I plan on being out after dark I throw the $200 NiteRider setup on there and it's blindingly bright. I just wouldn't want to keep that one on the bike in the elements or where it might get stolen.
if only you could use them in a rave
You could put one on your pecker.

And don't bitch about the fact that you has a "light" and someone mowed you down while you were riding against traffic!
And #2, I very disturbed at you wink in conjunction with the work "pecker". Seek help please...
