1 its got terrible reviews
2 its sold out
3 the SS is on the outside only PLASTIC ON THE INSIDE
1. It's only got 6 reviews total, most of which are people whining because they can't figure out how the lid works or my favorites "the handle is too high" (that's so it fits in your car's cupholder, dufus) and "it doesn't fit under my coffee machine" (God forbid the world doesn't revolve around your particular coffee maker)
2. true
3. also true
4. I actually own several of these (woot deal). They are leak proof--screw the lid on tightly and they're as good as a thermos. They do not keep your coffee warm for hours, but then, I don't nurse my coffee for hours either so it works great for me and mine.
The problem with the dual layer is that the liquid can get in between them and you'll never be able to get it out. The Contigo West Loop (all stainless) was recently top rated by C&D and has perfect reviews from Amazon. A little pricy at $20.
I have a Contigo 16 oz don't-know-what-model and am extremely pleased. So I bought 4 more. The only negative is that the top is not insulated. The solid stainless steel body is very well insulated.
Usually around $15 individually at Amazon, but strangely $40 for two. Sometimes drops to $12 or $13 for a few hours if you watch.
