      They're $100 speakers. You get what you pay for. They'll do the job for most people though.

      from what i've read/heard, you're probably better off paying an extra few buck and going for the next step up in this polk series.

      Polk are good speakers all around though, so you can't go wrong with these if that's what your budget is. Also, keep in mind which room you will be playing these in.

      WHERE are you guying seeing the $100 per PAIR??? I tried to check out and they ring up at $199 EACH!

      By the way, Polk does make good speakers, however, they are entry level. I mean it's one cone and one tweeter. If you expect these to be your fronts, expect nice sound - don't expect movie theater sound. I'm using them as my surround channels since they push a limited signal and they will better than my satellites but no way close to 4 cone front towers. If they are really $100 a pair, they're worth it for any channel.
