Does anyone know the 2 years is from the day of insurance purchase or from Original registration date with Apple?
Neither. It starts on the purchase date on the receipt for new products. I have multiple policies on unreliable stuff but ironically nothing has broken yet so I can't comment on service.
I've been happy with SquareTrade as a company so far. I got policies for a laptop & a pocket HD camcorder both bought from Amazon. I was able to upload the invoices to go completely paperless. I like that I can see both policies when I login and can rename them. I haven't had to fulfill a policy yet and hopefully never will!
Yes, SquareTrade is the way to go. Uploaded my invoices so I won't have to go scrambling looking for them when baconnaise hits the fan. So far their customer service has been top notch.
